Doyle won the one-meter (372.05 points) competition and placed second in the three-meter (388.35) event at the UW-Eau Claire Diving Invitational on Feb. 14.

Danielle Gray, Junior (Sturtevant/Washington Park), of UW-La Crosse
Gray won the 100-yard butterfly (59.43) and 200-yard individual medley (2:14.15) in UW-La Crosse's 181-57 dual meet win at UW-Whitewater on Feb. 7.

Koch won the one-meter (215.80 points) competition and placed second in the three-meter (220.90) event in UW-La Crosse’s 181-57 dual meet triumph at UW-Whitewater on Feb. 7.

Week of Jan. 26 - Feb. 1

Samantha Sommers, Sophomore (Suamico/Bay Port), of UW-Oshkosh
Sommers won four individual events and swam on two first-place relay teams as UW-Oshkosh defeated Lawrence University on Jan. 28, and captured the team title at the Monmouth College (Ill.) Invitational held Jan. 31. In UW-Oshkosh’s 144-69 victory over Lawrence University, Sommers won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.43 and the 100-yard butterfly with a performance of 1:04.03. She also swam on the Titans’ first-place 400-yard medley relay team that posted a time of 4:15.34. Competing at the Monmouth College Invitational, Sommers again won the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly events. She compiled winning times of 26.44 in the 50-yard freestyle and 1:02.71 in the 100-yard butterfly. Sommers, who also placed second in the 200-yard butterfly, swam on UW-Oshkosh’s first-place 200-yard medley relay team that marked a time of 1:58.69.

Nicole Dorvinen, Freshman (Green Bay/Bay Port), of UW-Eau Claire
Dorvinen won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:11.49 at the Get to the Point Invitational held Jan. 23-24. She also took second in the 400-yard individual medley with a season-best time of 4:43.68. Dorvinen added a sixth-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:16.03.

Danielle Ellingson, Freshman (Madison/Memorial), of UW-La Crosse
Ellingson captured the 200-yard individual medley with a pool record time of 2:12.02 in UW-La Crosse's 134-101 home dual victory over UW-Eau Claire on Jan. 17. She broke the record set by UW-La Crosse's Elizabeth Miles of 2:12.77 in 2004. Ellingson also finished second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:15.27) and 500-yard freestyle (5:23.01).

Swimming
Chelsea Hoff, Junior (Middleton), of UW-La Crosse
Hoff won the 200 backstroke at the UW-River Falls Falcon Invitational held in Minneapolis, Minn., with a school record time of 2:06.56. It is also an NCAA Division III "B" qualifying time. She also finished fifth in the 50-yard freestyle (24.25) and 100-yard backstroke (59.60). Hoff was a member of two fifth-place relays for the Eagles, including the 200-yard freestyle (1:39.79) and 400-yard freestyle (3:37.82). Her time of 59.42 in the 100-yard freestyle on the first leg of the 400 medley relay was also a "B" qualifying time.

Angie Bakula, Sophomore (Appleton/West), of UW-Eau Claire
Bakula won two events as the Blugolds defeated UW-Oshkosh 136-83 on Nov. 15. She took the top spot in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 18:40.29 and followed that with a first-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 5:23.86.

Britt took first place in both the one-meter and three-meter diving events in UW-Whitewater’s 149-75 victory at Lawrence University on Nov. 15. She had a score of 218.55 in the one-meter and a figure of 205.60 in the three-meter competition.

Swimming
Chelsea Hoff, Junior (Middleton), of UW-La Crosse
Hoff captured the 100-yard backstroke (58.77), 200-yard backstroke (2:11.49) and the 50-yard freestyle (24.15) at the Cows, Colleges and Contentment Classic in Northfield, Minn. She earned NCAA "B" cut times in the winning the 100-yard backstroke and 50-yard freestyle.

Rachel LaValley, Sophomore (Eau Claire/Memorial), of UW-La Crosse
LaValley won the three-meter competition at the Cows, Colleges and Contentment Classic in Northfield, Minn. She earned a NCAA qualifying mark of 416.15 points. LaValley was also second in the one-meter competition with 387.50 points.

Week of Oct. 27 - Nov. 2

Kristen Jahn, Sophomore (McHenry, Ill./West), of UW-Whitewater
In Saturday's double-dual meet against UW-Oshkosh and Luther College (Iowa), Jahn broke a 14-year old school record in the 50-yard breaststroke. She completed the event with a winning time of 32.84, surpassing Christel Waldner's record of 33.87 set February 18, 1994. Jahn also went on to win the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:10.66.

Bakula won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:20.27 and 1,000-yard freestyle with a performance of 11:06.98 in a triangular against UW-Stevens Point and St. Cloud State (Minn.).

Britt won the one-meter and three-meter diving events in a dual meet against Carroll University (Wis.) Oct. 24. In the one-meter competition, she scored a 185.55 after six dives and recorded a 202.35 in six dives on the three-meter board.

Swimming
Danielle Mandich, Senior (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson), of UW-River Falls
Mandich had several outstanding swims to help lead the Falcons to a win over UW-Oshkosh Oct. 18 at the River Falls High School poll. She placed first in the 50-yard freestyle (25.95) and the 100-yard freestyle (58.02) to lead the Falcons. Mandich was the leadoff swimmer for the 200-yard freestyle relay team that placed first in 1:46.56 and she was the anchor for the 200-yard medley relay team that placed first in 2:00.44.
