Becky Lebak, Senior (Burlington), of UW-Stevens Point
Lebak placed 12th overall in the 5,000-meters at the prestigious Drake Relays.
Her time of 17:27.65 was the second-best among NCAA Division III competitors
and automatically qualified her for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship.

Niki Riemer, Senior (Hartland/Arrowhead), of UW-Oshkosh
Competing at the Loras College (Iowa) Open on April 27, Riemer surpassed the
provisional standard for next month's NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship
by leaping 12-0 in the pole vault. Her performance also bettered the height
of the second-place finisher by nearly 1 1/2 feet.

Breanna McMullen, Sophomore (Fall Creek), of UW-Eau Claire
McMullen won the 100-meter hurdles in the 18-team Manitou Classic with a school
record time of 14.47 seconds, the third fastest time in Division III this season.
She had shattered the 10-year-old school standard of 15.21 set by Diane Duval
with a 14.76 clocking in the prelims, then bettered that record in the finals.
There were 40 competitors in that event. She also won the 400-meter hurdles,
an event in which she still ranks third in the country with a 1:03.05 performance,
in a field of 36 runners with a time of 1:03.09. She also ran on the Blugolds'
winning 4x100 relay team that ran a provisional qualifying time of 49.40.

Tabitha Fendrick, Senior (Marinette), of UW-Whitewater
Participating at the Carthage Invitational on April 20, Fendrick established
a school record and automatically qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship
in the discus with a winning toss of 156- 10 (46.88m). She also won the shot
put with a provisional distance of 43-10 3/4 (13.38m) and finished third in
the javelin. The Warhawks finished second in the meet with 168 points.

Elizabeth Woodworth, Sophomore (Marinette), of UW-Oshkosh
Woodworth recorded the fastest outdoor 800-meter run time in the NCAA Division
III this season by winning the event with a time of 2:10.86 at the Cardinal
Classic held April 13 in Naperville, Ill. Woodworth, who won the race by nearly
six seconds, also set a school record with her performance. Oshkosh finished
second to Stevens Point at the Cardinal Classic by totaling 143.50 points.

Clark won the long jump and triple jump at the Wartburg College Select Meet.
She won the long jump with a distance of 17-5 1/2. Clark won the triple jump
with a NCAA Division III provisional mark of 37-5.

Vosters placed second in her first-ever 10,000-meter race at the UW-La Crosse
Invitational. Her time of 36:52.44 automatically qualified her for the NCAA
Division III Championship.

Breanna McMullen, Sophomore (Fall Creek), of UW-Eau Claire
McMullen won the 400-meter hurdles in the nine-team Disney's Track & Field
Showcase 2002 with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 1:03.05, which compares
to the second-place time of 1:04.83. She also placed sixth in the 100-meter
high hurdles with a 15.45 clocking. McMullen also was a member of the 4x100-meter
relay team that placed second.

Jenney Luer, Senior (Colfax), of UW-Stout
Luer walked away with two first-place finishes, two meet records two NCAA qualifying
marks and a school record as she competed in a meet at Augustana (Ill.) March
29. She was the lone Blue Devil to participate in the otherwise dual meet between
Augustana and UW-La Crosse, but definitely made her mark, winning the shot put
in an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying distance and the discus in an
automatic qualifying distance. Luer tossed the shot put 43-3 and threw the discus
a school record 152-2. The shot put record is only four inches short of the
school record of 43-7. She bettered her own school record (151-11) in the discus.
