Week of Feb. 15 - 21
Track
Brooke BellBrooke Bell, Junior (Milwaukee/Alexander Hamilton), of UW-Whitewater
Bell scored victories at the Pointer/Eastbay Invitational on Feb. 20, in the 55-meter dash and the 200m dash.  In the 55-meter trials, she was able to run a seasonal best and provisional qualifier of 7.24 to have the second seed in the final to be contested later in the meet.  In her 55-meter final, Bell had a tremendous start and blazed an automatic qualifying time of 7.10.  Not only is that the third-fastest time in Division III, it also is a school record.  Bell bested her nearest competitor by .08 seconds in her victory.  She also ran a season-best 25.52 to easily win the 200-meter dash with a .47 second margin of victory.

Shelby DemosShelby Demos, Freshman (Janesville/Parker), of UW-Whitewater
Demos won the high jump at the Pointer/Eastbay Invitational on Feb. 20 with a NCAA automatic qualifying and school-record performance of 5-8 (1.73m).  She won the event by 4-0 1/4 over her next closest competitor.  Her performance is currently tied for second in the NCAA Division III.  Following up on the high jump performance, Demos continued to break another school record in the 55-meter hurdles in the preliminary race clocking 8.69.  In the finals of the hurdle race, she bested her preliminary time by .17 seconds (8.52) in garnering the bronze medal finish.

Week of Feb. 8 - 14
Track
Kailey CharltonKailey Charlton, Junior (Brookfield/East), of UW-La Crosse
Charlton won the 55-meter dash (7.20) and 200-meter dash (26.63) at the St. Mary’s University (Minn.) Cardinal Open on Feb. 12.  She set a lifetime best and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship with her winning time in the 55-meter dash.  Charlton also finished second in the long jump (17-10 1/4) at the Cardinal Open and provisionally qualified for the national championship.

Hayley SuckowHayley Suckow, Senior (Elk Mound), of UW-Eau Claire
Winning the pole vault at the UW-Platteville Invitational on Feb. 13, Suckow set a facility record as she finished with a height of 12-7 1/2 (3.85 meters), just one and three-quarters of an inch short of a school record.  The facility record that she broke was 3.66 meters.  Suckow’s performance ranks as the third-best mark in the country this season and automatically qualified her for the NCAA Division III Championship.

Week of Feb. 1 - 7

Camille DavisCamille Davis, Junior (Green Bay/Notre Dame), of UW-Oshkosh
Davis won the 200-meter dash and placed second in the 55-meter dash at the Warhawk Classic held Feb. 6 in Whitewater.  She ran a personal best and a conference-leading time of 25.43 in the 200-meter dash.  The event featured 37 participants, with Brooke Bell of UW-Whitewater placing second to Davis in 25.60.  In the 55-meter dash, Davis ran to a time of 7.25.  Her performance surpassed the provisional qualifying standard for the NCAA Division III Championship.  Caitlin Dhein of Winona State University (Minn.) won the race of 37 competitors with a time of 7.27.  Winona State University captured the team title with 134.5 points, while the University of Chicago (Ill.) placed second with 114.5 and UW-Oshkosh third with 102.  A total of nine teams scored points.

Holly OzanichHolly Ozanich, Junior (Green Bay/East), of UW-Oshkosh
Ozanich won the 20-pound weight throw and placed sixth in the shot put at the Warhawk Classic held Feb. 6 in Whitewater.  She hurled the 20-pound weight throw a distance of 57-3 3/4.  Her performance surpassed the automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Division Championship.  Ozanich defeated 34 other contestants, including the four who rank in the top eight in the NCAA Division III.  Claire Ray of the University of Chicago (Ill.) finished second with a mark of 57-1 1/2.  In the shot put, Ozanich recorded a distance of 42-9.  Her performance surpassed the provisional qualifying standard for the NCAA Division III Championship.  Rebecca Stier of Winona State University (Minn.) won the event of 31 competitors with a mark of 48-3 1/4.  Winona State University captured the team title with 134.5 points, while the University of Chicago (Ill.) placed second with 114.5 and UW-Oshkosh third with 102.  A total of nine teams scored points.

Kathleen FolbrechtKathleen Folbrecht, Junior (Jefferson), of UW-Stevens Point
Folbrecht finished first and third in a pair of events at the Pointer Quad on Jan. 30.  She won the 400-meter dash with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 58.61.  In the 200-meter dash, Folbrecht finished third with a time of 27.49.

May won the triple jump (37-8) and placed second in the long jump (18-7 1/4) at the Minnesota State-Mankato Open on Jan. 30.  She provisionally qualified for the NCAA III Championship in both events.  Her performances rank first in the NCAA Division III in the long jump and seventh in the triple jump.

Roberts opened the season with the fastest mile in the nation to date.  She won the mile run event at the UW-Eau Claire Triangular on Jan. 23, with a NCAA qualifying time of 4:57.26.

Demos improved her school record high jump to 5-7 1/4 on Jan. 23, at the UW- Whitewater Invitational.  She automatically qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship in her third collegiate meet.  Her jump is currently second in the country.  Demos also placed second in the 55 hurdles.

Camille DavisCamille Davis, Junior (Green Bay/Notre Dame), of UW-Oshkosh
Davis ran to a pair of victories as UW-Oshkosh defeated Augustana College (Ill.), 95.50-50.50, and the University of Chicago (Ill.), 82-60, in its home opener on Jan. 9.  Davis, the only person in the meet to capture two individual first-place finishes, won the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.33 and the 200-meter dash with a performance of 25.77.

Holly OzanichHolly Ozanich, Junior (Green Bay/East), of UW-Oshkosh
Ozanich picked up a pair of victories in the 20-pound weight throw as UW-Oshkosh hosted a triangular with Augustana College (Ill.) and the University of Chicago (Ill.) and competed at the UW-Whitewater Warhawk Opener.  Ozanich took first place in the 20-pound weight throw with a cast of 57-11 1/4 and fourth place in the shot put with a toss of 42-9 3/4 as UW-Oshkosh defeated Augustana College, 95.50-50.50, and the University of Chicago, 82-60, in its home opener on Jan. 9.  Ozanich’s performance in the 20-pound weight throw surpassed the automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Division III Championship.  Competing at the UW-Whitewater Warhawk Opener on Jan. 16, Ozanich won the 20-pound weight throw with fling of 56-6 3/4, while placing third in the shot put with a hurl of 43-2 1/2.  Her mark in the 20-pound weight throw surpassed the provisional qualifying standard for the NCAA Division III Championship.
