Week of Feb. 20 - 26
Track
Marcia Taddy, Junior (Two Rivers), of UW-Platteville
Taddy set two school records with NCAA Division III qualifying marks, while running two events at the Pointer Qualifier on February 25. She won the 800-meter run in 2:13.05, an automatic qualifying time and the third-fastest time in NCAA Division III this year. Taddy was also a member of the distance medley relay team that recorded the third-best time in the NCAA Division III this season at 11:54.97.

Robyn Jarocki, Senior (Merrill), of UW-Oshkosh
Jarocki finished fifth in both the 20-pound weight throw and shot put at the AT&T USA Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship held February 24-26 in Boston, Mass. She placed fifth out of 12 competitors in the 20-pound weight throw with a hurl of 66-8 and fifth out of eight participants in the shot put with a school-record toss of 53-2 3/4. She was the only NCAA Division III performer in both events.

Week of Feb. 13 - 19
Track
Jena Durnin, Junior (Evansville, Ind.), of UW-La Crosse
Durnin captured the 55-meter dash in UW-La Crosse's dual victory over Winona State (Minn.) on February 17 with a time of 7.17. She set a UW-La Crosse and Mitchell Hall Fieldhouse record with a time of 7.14 in the preliminaries. Durnin broke the school record of 7.21 set by Amber Lindblad (1999) and the facility record of 7.17 set by Karla Eggerson of UW-Whitewater (1995). Durnin automatically qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships with her performance. Her time of 7.14 also ranks first in NCAA Division III this season.

Jessica Scott, Freshman (Kiel), of UW-Platteville
Scott set a UW-Platteville school record and automatically qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:13.64 at the Iowa State Classic. Her time is the third fastest in the country among NCAA Division III runners this season.

Kelly Rehn, Junior (Hartland/Arrowhead), of UW-Oshkosh
Rehn set a school record and surpassed the automatic qualifying mark for the NCAA Division III Championships in the pole vault at the Warhawk Classic on February 11. She won the pole vault with a leap of 12-2 to defeat nine other competitors. Her performance is the fourth best in the NCAA Division III this season.

Track
Nadine Pieske, Junior (Hales Corners/Whitnall), of UW-Oshkosh
Pieske won the 200-meter dash and ran legs on two first-place relay teams as UW-Oshkosh outscored five teams in its own invitational on February 4. She took first place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.83. Her performance established UW-Oshkosh and Kolf Sports Center records. Pieske also helped UW-Oshkosh register times of 1:45.53 in the 800-meter and 3:59.98 in the 1,600-meter relays. UW-Oshkosh captured first place in the team standings with 334 points.

Barnes won the pole vault with a NCAA Division III automatic qualifying mark of 12-8 at the seven-team Warren Bowlus Open on February 4. Her mark is the best in NCAA Division III this year and also set a school record.

Jenna Mitchler, Senior (Kaukauna), of UW-Stevens Point
Mitchler opened her indoor season with a first-place finish in the 5,000-meter run at the UW-Whitewater Invitational on January 28. She posted a time of 17:28.97, which provisionally qualified her for the NCAA Division III Championships. UW-Stevens Point finished third in the 14-team meet.

Jackie Mulrooney, Junior (Hartland/Arrowhead), of UW-Platteville
Mulrooney won the 5,000-meter run in 17:07.65, breaking her own Williams Fieldhouse record by 25 second and Keri Wells' 1999 school record of 17:12.83. Mulrooney's time would normally automatically qualify her for the NCAA Division III Championships, but because she ran in a combined race with the men, the national mark does not count.

Jarocki finished first in both the shot put and 20-pound weight throw as UW-Oshkosh opened its season with a 96-53 victory over Chicago (Ill.) on January 14. She took first place in the shot put with a school record toss of 50-10 and 20-pound weight throw with a hurl of 65-3 1/2. Jarocki surpassed the automatic qualifying standard in both events for the NCAA Division III Championships.
