Klatt won the 400-meter dash at the St. Olaf (Minn.) Invitational with a NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 58.59.

Laura Verdegan, Junior (Tony/Flambeau), of UW-Stout
Less than 48 hours after completing her collegiate basketball career, Verdegan won both the long jump and triple jump at the St. Olaf (Minn.) Invitational in NCAA Division III provisional qualifying distances. She won the long jump with a distance of 17-9 and the triple jump in 37-7. Her triple jump mark is currently the sixth-best in the country.

Week of Feb. 16 - 22
Track
Elizabeth Woodworth, Senior (Marinette), of UW-Oshkosh
Taking part in two performances that established NCAA Division III season bests, Woodworth helped UW-Oshkosh to a first-place finish in its own seven-team invitational held February 21. Individually, Woodworth placed first in the 800-meter run by posting a time of 2:11.38. As a member of the first-place distance medley relay team, she ran the final leg in a group that registered a time of 11:55.59. UW-Oshkosh captured the team title with 249 points.

Track
Jackie Mulrooney, Freshman (Hartland/Arrowhead), of UW-Platteville
Mulrooney, placed 14th among 47 competitors in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17:34.12 at the Iowa State Classic on February 14. Besides beating 33 NCAA Division I runners, she also lowered her NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time by 13 seconds.

Trybom won the pole vault at the Warhawk Classic on February 13 with a NCAA Division III provisional qualifying mark of 11-0 1/4. UW-La Crosse won the six-team meet with 155.50 points.

Jenna Mitchler, Sophomore (Kaukauna), of UW-Stevens Point
Mitchler recorded a personal best time in winning the 1,500-meter run at the Warren Bowlus Open on February 7. She stopped the clock in 4:43.20, which also eclipsed the NCAA Division III provisional qualifying mark. Mitchler also anchored the first place 4 x 400-meter relay team.

Robyn Jarocki, Sophomore (Merrill), of UW-Oshkosh
Jarocki established a school record and turned in the ninth-best performance in the United States when she tossed the 20-pound weight throw 66-7 3/4 at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational held February 7. Jarocki, who earlier qualified for the USA Indoor Championship that will be held later this month in Boston, Mass., also won the shot put with a toss of 46-11 3/4 to help the Titans total 249 points and easily outscore the 10-team field.

Rudd won the 5,000-meter run (17:38.09) at the UW-Stevens Point Invitational on January 31. She provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in the event.

Slabosheski claimed first place in the shot put at the Pointer Invitational with a toss of 12.78 meters. She provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in the event. Slabosheski also had a personal record in the 20-pound weight throw with a distance of 13.17 meters to place sixth.

Jen Stafslein, Junior (Onalaska/West Salem), of UW-Eau Claire
Stafslein provisionally qualified for national competition in two events at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational on January 23. She took first place in the 55-meter hurdles and qualified provisionally for nationals with a time of 8.59. Stafslein also qualified for nationals in the triple jump with a distance of 11.20 meters, while taking third in the long jump with a leap of 5.30 meters.

Jarocki qualified for next month's USA Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship in Boston, Mass., following her school-record toss of 65-4 1/4 in the 20-pound weight throw on January 16. She also won the shot put with a toss of 47-0 3/4 to help the Titans defeat Augustana (Ill.) in the dual meet, 88-81. Jarocki also qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships with her efforts in both events.
