Week of Oct. 19 - 25
Megan StatsMegan Stats, Freshman (Stevens Point), of UW-La Crosse
Stats captured the individual title at the Lake Wissota Invitational on Oct. 23 to lead UW-La Crosse to a second-place finish.  She won the crown with a time of 19:43 on the 5,000-meter course.  A total of 58 runners competed.

Week of Oct. 12 - 18
Ayla MitchellAyla Mitchell, Senior (New Richmond) of UW-Oshkosh
Mitchell defeated defending NCAA Division III champion Marie Borner of Bethel University (Minn.) for the individual title as UW-Oshkosh finished fifth at the Brooks Invitational on Oct. 17 at the Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne.  Mitchell completed the Brooks Invitational course in a winning 6,000-meter time of 20:29.  Borner, the defending Brooks Invitational champion, finished second among this year’s 466 runners with a time 20:36.  UW-Oshkosh finished fifth in the team standings with 182 points.

Week of Oct. 5 - 11
Rachel BoldtRachel Boldt, Junior (Stillwater, Minn.), of UW-La Crosse
Boldt was UW-La Crosse’s top runner at the 11th Annual Dan Huston Invitational on Oct. 10 at Wartburg College (Iowa).  She finished ninth overall with a time of 23:22 on the 6,000-meter course and helped lead the Eagles to a second-place team finish.

Week of Sept. 28 - Oct. 4
Ayla MitchellAyla Mitchell, Senior (New Richmond), of UW-Oshkosh
Mitchell ran another outstanding race as she successfully defended her individual title at the Notre Dame Women's Cross Country Invitational held Oct. 2 in South Bend, Ind.  Mitchell, who completed the 5,000-meter course in a winning time of 17:31, helped UW-Oshkosh finish seventh in the Gold Division of the 20-team event with 190 points.  The Gold Division featured a mix of participants from NCAA Division I, II and III schools.  Mitchell, who won last year's race with a time of 17:28, defeated Megan Maceratini of Grand Valley State University (Mich.) by nine seconds for this year's championship.  Maceratini finished second with a time of 17:40.  Grand Valley State University, ranked second in the NCAA Division II by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, captured the team title with 48 points.  The University of Dayton finished second with 104 points, while Calvin College (Mich.) placed third with 119. Calvin College entered the meet ranked first in the NCAA Division III and UW-Oshkosh eighth.

Week of Sept. 21 - 27
Jennifer PiskorJennifer Piskor, Junior (Eagan, Minn.), of UW-Oshkosh
In a meet that featured participants from seven WIAC teams, Piskor finished as the league’s second runner at the prestigious Roy Griak Invitational held Sept. 26 in Minneapolis, Minn.  Piskor placed seventh out of 497 runners in the 6,000-meter race with a time of 23:00.  Her performance, which helped UW-Oshkosh finish second in the team standings, was a career best.  Marie Borner of Bethel University (Minn.) captured the individual title with a time of 21:26.  UW-Oshkosh’s Ayla Mitchell finished second with a time of 21:49.

Katelynn WilliamsKatelynn Williams, Senior (Madison/West), of UW-La Crosse
Williams finished third overall and helped lead UW-La Crosse to the team title at the UW-Whitewater Warhawk Invitational on Sept. 19. She ran the 6,000-meter course in 23:12. A total of 10 teams and 138 runners participated.

Stephanie PerlebergStephanie Perleberg, Senior (Delafield/Divine Savior), of UW-La Crosse
Perleberg claimed the individual title at the Luther College (Iowa) All-American Invitational on Sept. 12. She ran the 5,000-meter course in 18:17 to help lead UW-La Crosse to the team title. A total of 146 runners participated.
