Week of Feb. 15 - 21
Maranda DohrnMaranda Dohrn, Sophomore (Lake City, Minn.), Forward of UW-River Falls
Dohrn had a career-best day in the team’s 57-46 win at UW-Platteville on Feb. 20.  She poured in a career-high 23 points and matched a school record with 22 rebounds.  In two games during the week, she totaled 33 points and 28 rebounds.  Dohrn also had one assist, one blocked shot and two steals.

Week of Feb. 8 - 14
Kelsey HendricksonKelsey Hendrickson, Senior (Monroe), Guard of UW-Whitewater
Hendrickson helped UW-Whitewater to a pair of home victories during the week.  In a 88-77 win over UW-Platteville on Feb. 10, she scored 17 points, dished out six assists, grabbed three rebounds and had three steals.  Hendrickson also converted all eight of her free throw attempts.  In a 62-54 triumph over UW-Eau Claire on Feb. 13, she surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her career and broke the school single-season record for steals.  Hendrickson scored 20 points, including 12-of-13 from the free throw stripe, grabbed eight rebounds, dished out three assists and had three steals against the Blugolds.

Week of Feb. 1 - 7
Julia HirssigJulia Hirssig, Senior (Rochester, Minn./Mayo), Forward of UW-Stout
Hirssig became the UW-Stout all-time leading scorer when she scored 21 points in an 82-62 win over UW-Oshkosh on Feb. 8.  She collected her seventh consecutive double-double and her 12th double-double of the season with 11 rebounds.  In a 90-76 win over first-place UW-Stevens Point on Feb. 3, Hirssig scored 27 points and 12 rebounds to help coach Mark Thomas to his 400th career win.

Week of Jan. 25 - 31
Andrea FleaseAndrea Flease, Junior (New London), Guard of UW-Stevens Point
Scoring a season high 24 points, Flease led the Pointers to a 68-51 win at No. 22-ranked UW-Whitewater on Jan. 27.  She was 6-of-10 from the field, including 2-of-3 from beyond the three-point arc, and converted 10-of-13 attempts from the charity stripe.  Flease also finished the day with seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.  Facing UW-Superior on Jan. 30, Flease scored six points, while dishing out a game-high five assists in 25 minutes of playing time as the Pointers earned their 12th straight win and increase their lead in the WIAC standings to 1 ½ games.

Week of Jan. 18 - 24
Julia HirssigJulia Hirssig, Senior (Rochester, Minn./Mayo), Forward of UW-Stout
Hirssig scored her eighth double-double of the season as UW-Stout defeated UW-River Falls, 80-67, on Jan. 23.  She finished the night with 20 points and a career-high 18 rebounds.  Hirssig played a key role in igniting UW-Stout in a 92-61 win over UW-Superior on Jan. 20.  With the score tied at 43 apiece at halftime, Hirssig scored nine points in a 15-0 run to start the second half.  Hirssig finished the game with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Week of Jan. 11 - 17
Hannah MesickHannah Mesick, Junior (Chatfield, Minn.), Center of UW-Eau Claire
Mesick helped UW-Eau Claire secure two conference wins during the week to improve to 5-2 in WIAC contests.  On Jan. 16, the Blugolds defeat No. 15-ranked UW-Whitewater 57-53, while picking up a 57-33 victory over UW-Superior on Jan. 13.  Against the Warhawks, she secured a double-double with a game-high 24 points, while also pulling down 10 rebounds.  Against the Yellowjackets, she scored a career-high 28 points on 11-for-15 shooting from the floor and 6-for-8 from the free throw line.  She also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.

Week of Jan. 4 - 10
Britta PetersenBritta Petersen, Junior (Luck), Post of UW-Stevens Point
Petersen scored 16 points in each of two victories during the week.  Against UW-Oshkosh on Jan. 6, Petersen was 6-of-9 from the field and 4-of-5 from the charity stripe in a 51-47 victory over the Titans.  Facing UW-La Crosse on Jan. 9, Petersen converted 8-of-12 field goal attempts (66.7 percent), grabbed six rebounds and had a steal and a block in a 88-76 win.  She currently leads the team with 16.1 points per game, 6.9 rebounds per contest and a 56.5 field goal percentage.

Week of Dec. 21 - Jan. 3
Megan WenigMegan Wenig, Freshman (Oshkosh/West), Guard of UW-Oshkosh
Wenig recorded double-figure scoring in all three games as UW-Oshkosh defeated Edgewood College, Baruch College (N.Y.) and Keene State College (N.H.).  Wenig made 14 of her 28 shots (50 percent) from the field and all six of her free throws in averaging 13 points per contest.  She connected on five of her 10 three-point shots (50 percent) while totaling 11 rebounds, eight assists and two steals.  In UW-Oshkosh’s 71-60 home victory over Edgewood College on Dec. 22, Wenig scored 16 points, grabbed two rebounds and dished off one assist.  During the Titans’ 85-67 win over Baruch College on Dec. 29, Wenig tallied 12 points, four assists and three rebounds.  In UW-Oshkosh’s 57-54 overtime triumph over Keene State College, Wenig compiled 11 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals.  Wenig forced overtime when she made a lay-up with four seconds left in regulation.  She then connected on a pair of free throws with 17 seconds left in the extra session to ice the victory.  The wins over Baruch College and Keene State College allowed UW-Oshkosh to capture a first-place finish at the Grand Canyon Classic held in Phoenix, Ariz.  Wenig was among six players named to the all-tournament team.

Churchill had a career-high 20 points in UW-La Crosse’s 68-58 victory over Coe College (Iowa) on Dec. 16.  She finished eight-of-14 from the field and hit all four of her free throw attempts for her 20 points. Churchill also had six rebounds, three assists and one steal.

Week of Dec. 7 - 13
Megan MaslowskiMegan Maslowski, Senior (Marshfield), Forward of UW-Stout
Maslowski scored five points in the final 2-minutes, 42-seconds to help UW-Stout ease past UW-Eau Claire, 67-66, at Zorn Arena on Dec. 12.  In a game that was tied 11 times, Maslowski broke the 11th tie with a three-point bucket with 2:42 left on the clock, then dished off a pass 20 seconds later to Kimmy Keehr.  As the Blugolds continued to stay close, Maslowski drained a pair of free throws with nine seconds left to give the Blue Devils a 67-63 lead.  Maslowski finished with 16 points, two short of her career high.  In a 68-65 win over UW-La Crosse, Maslowski finished with 10 points, all in the second half.  On the week, Maslowski averaged 13.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, had seven assists and one steal.

Week of Nov. 30 - Dec. 6
Tiffany GregorichTiffany Gregorich, Sophomore (Altoona), Guard of UW-River Falls
Gregorich helped the Falcons to a perfect week with wins in two WIAC games, including a victory over No. 15-ranked UW-Stevens Point.  She finished with a game-high 27 points in a 73-52 triumph at UW-Superior on Dec. 2, converting 9-of-12 shots from the field, including three-of-five from behind the arc.  Gregorich also grabbed six rebounds and dished out two assists.  In a 72-61 win over the Pointers on Dec. 5, she recorded a team-best 19 points, five assists and three steals.  In the two games, she shot 16-of-25 (64.0 percent) from the field, four-of-eight (50.0 percent) from three-point range and 10-of-11 (90.9 percent) from the free-throw line.  Her 59 minutes of playing time included 11 rebounds, five steals and four assists.

Heidi SonntagHeidi Sonntag, Senior (Milwaukee/Wisconsin Lutheran), Guard of UW-Whitewater
Sonntag was named the Most Valuable Player of the Simpson College (Iowa) Classic that was held Nov. 27-28 and helped UW-Whitewater to three wins during the week.  Against Buena Vista University (Iowa), she scored a game-high 20 points on seven-of-eight shooting from the field and grabbed six rebounds, had two assists and two steals.  The following day against Simpson, she scored 13 points and had five steals.  Earlier in the week against Coe College (Iowa), Sonntag poured in a team-high 24 points and had four steals, two assists and one blocked shot.  In the three games, she converted nine-of-12 three-point field goal attempts.

Week of Nov. 15 - 22
Andrea FleaseAndrea Flease, Junior (New London), Guard of UW-Stevens Point
Flease was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Pointer Tip-Off Tournament held Nov. 20-21.  She led the Pointers in scoring in a 75-49 victory over Rockford College (Ill.) on Nov. 20, with 19 points on six field goals and seven free throws.  Flease also contributed six steals.  On Nov. 21, she sealed the win in the championship game, assisting on the game-winning basket with eight seconds left and then running the length of the floor to block the attempted game-winning Concordia College-Moorhead (Minn.) shot.  She finished with a double-double (12 points, 10 assists) against the Cobbers.  Earlier in the week, Flease chipped in 12 points on six-of-nine shooting from the field and had five steals and six assists in a 68-48 victory at Viterbo University.
