Effle helped the Falcons to a pair of WIAC victories last week, including a
75-68 win at No. 19-ranked UW-Stevens Point and a home win against rival UW-Eau
Claire. Against the Pointers, Effle finished with 29 points, six rebounds and
three blocked shots. She was 11-of-18 from the field and seven-of-nine from
the free throw line. In the two games, Effle was 13-of-25 from the field, one-of-three
from three-point range and 10-of-14 from the free throw line for 37 points.
She added 11 rebounds, three blocked shots, two assists and one steal.

Nechuta averaged 22 points and seven rebounds in two WIAC victories this week.
She was 11-of-18 from the field, scored a season-high 26 points, pulled down
seven rebounds and added six steals against UW-Whitewater on February 8. She
followed that performance with 18 points and seven more rebounds in a 73-42
victory over UW-Superior on February 12. For the week, Nechuta was 15-of-29
from the field and 13-of-16 from the free throw line for 44 points. She had
14 rebounds, nine steals, five assists and five blocked shots.

Schultz scored half of her team's points against UW-Eau Claire and nearly single-handedly
carried the Pointers to a 62-55 victory on February 5. She made all five of
her three-point attempts and finished with a career-high 31 points. She ended
the game nine-of-13 from the field and eight-of-nine at the free throw line.
Schultz's final field goal was a three-pointer that tied the game at 53 with
2:15 left to play. On the next possession, she assisted Amy Scott's basket to
give the Pointers the lead for good.

Duoss scored five of her game-high 18 points in overtime as UW-Stout downed
No. 22-ranked UW-Stevens Point on January 29 and was UW-Stout's key in a 69-65
win at UW-River Falls on January 25, scoring 21 second half points. Against
the Pointers, Duoss scored 18 points on six-of-11 shooting from the field and
had 11 rebounds, four blocked shots and three assists. She broke the school
single season record for blocked shots in the contest and has 52 on the season,
breaking the previous mark of 50 set last year by Laura Verdegan. Against the
Falcons, Duoss scored 22 points, had nine rebounds, five blocked shots and three
steals. In the two games, she scored 40 points on 15-of-25 shooting from the
field (60.0 percent), had 20 rebounds, nine blocked shots, three assists and
three steals.

Nechuta averaged 24.5 points over two conference victories this week. She scored
24 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the Pointers' 63-56 victory over fifth-ranked
UW-Oshkosh on January 19. Against UW-La Crosse on January 22, she scored 25
points and added four blocked shots and three steals. For the week, Nechuta
shot 48.6 percent (17-for-35) from the field and 72.2 percent (13-for-18) from
the free-throw line. She had 13 rebounds, six blocked shots, six steals and
three assists. Nechuta has 1,647 career points and is now just six points short
of becoming UW-Stevens Point's all-time leading scorer.

Churchill scored a game and season-high 24 points as the Blue Devils stunned
top-ranked UW-Oshkosh, 88-58, in Oshkosh on January 12. She was seven-of-14
from the floor, three-of-five from three-point range and seven-of-10 from the
line. Churchill also added four rebounds, three assists, two steals and one
blocked shot in the contest. She also helped the Blue Devils to a 78-58 victory
over UW-Eau Claire on January 15. In the two games during the week, Churchill
scored 29 points, hitting nine-of-20 from the floor, four-of-eight from three-point
range, seven-of-12 from the line, had nine rebounds, four assists, two steals
and one blocked shot.

Scott registered season highs in points and rebounds in the Pointers' 76-72
win at UW-Whitewater. She recorded her first double-double of the season, scoring
17 points and grabbing 11 rebounds against the Warhawks. Her basket with 53
seconds remaining broke a 70-70 tie and gave the Pointers the lead for good.
Scott followed that performance by going six-for-10 from the field, including
a three-point basket in an 80-59 win over UW-La Crosse. She finished with 16
points and seven rebounds against the Eagles. For the week, Scott was 13-for-24
(54.2 percent) from the field and six-for-seven from the free throw line. She
had 18 rebounds, including eight offensive boards, four blocked shots and two
assists.

Erichsen helped lead UW-Stout to the championship of the D3 Desert Shootout
in Las Vegas, Nev., as the Blue Devils defeated two nationally ranked teams.
UW-Stout downed No. 21 Union (N.Y.), 65-56, in the semifinal game and No. 6
DePauw (Ind.), 76-71, in the championship game. Erichsen scored 14 points in
the championship game and had 17 points in the semifinal contest. On the week,
she shot 11-of-23 from the floor, nine-of-11 from the free throw line, had eight
rebounds, one blocked shot and one steal.

In a 90-73 loss to NCAA Division II St. Cloud State (Minn.), Duoss scored 18
points on eight-of-10 shooting from the field and two-of-two from the free throw
line. She also added seven rebounds and one steal in the contest.

Shannon Eggers, Junior (Council Bluffs,
Iowa), Guard of UW-Oshkosh
Eggers scored 29 points, including the game-winning basket with seven seconds
left against UW-Eau Claire, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished off seven assists
in a pair of UW-Oshkosh victories. In a 63-61 win over UW-Eau Claire on December
8, Eggers scored the last of her 13 points in the closing seconds to give UW-Oshkosh
the road victory. She also grabbed nine rebounds, dished off three assists and
blocked one shot against the ninth-ranked Blugolds. In an 82-62 home win over
UW-River Falls on December 11, Eggers scored 16 points, dished off four assists,
grabbed three rebounds and recorded two steals. Eggers concluded the two games
shooting 11-of-18 from the field, four-of-seven behind the three-point line
and three-of-four from the free-throw line.

Herrick scored 43 points, shot 70.8 percent (17-of-24) from the field, shot
75 percent (nine-of-12) from the free throw line and grabbed 13 rebounds as
UW-Oshkosh opened WIAC play with a pair of victories. In UW-Oshkosh's 87-62
win over UW-Whitewater on December 1, she scored a career-high 23 points on
nine-of-12 shooting from the field and five-of-seven shooting from the free
throw line. She also grabbed eight rebounds and dished off two assists. In the
Titans' 84-57 victory over UW-La Crosse on December 4, Herrick scored 20 points
on eight-of-12 shooting from the field and four-of-five shooting from the free
throw line. She also grabbed five rebounds and blocked two shots.

Boatman averaged 14.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.0 steals while leading the
Pioneers to a 2-1 record. She made 14-of-23 shots from the field (60.9 percent)
and 14-of-17 from the line (82.4 percent). In addition, the Pioneers' lone senior
grabbed 16 offensive rebounds, blocked three shots and committed just one turnover
in 84 minutes of play. Boatman had 11 points and 10 rebounds, while leading
the Pioneers to a 70-45 win over previously undefeated Loras (Iowa).

Matson averaged 15.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in two games during the weekend.
She had 14 points and nine rebounds in a 64-53 victory over St. Norbert on November
19. She then recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds in a 60-49
loss against Lakeland in the championship game of the Lakeland College Tip-Off
Classic. Matson was 10-for-20 (50.0 percent) from the field in the two games
with four steals and 1 blocked shot.
