Jenny Randall, Senior (White Bear Lake, Minn.), Libero of UW-La Crosse
Randall was named the Most Valuable Player of the UW-Oshkosh Invitational held October 28-29. She helped lead UW-La Crosse to a 4-0 record and the championship at the invitational. Randall had 82 digs (5.47 per game) and five aces in four matches. She had at least 15 digs in every match, including 25 in the championship match win over No. 7-ranked UW-Oshkosh.

Week of Oct. 17 - 23
Amber Bergson, Senior (Duluth, Minn./East), Outside Hitter of UW-Superior
Bergson helped UW-Superior to a 4-1 record on the week, including a conference dual match victory over UW-Stout on October 19. The win over the Blue Devils was the second league victory of the season for the Yellowjackets - the most for the program since 1996 when they had four victories. Bergson was also named to the all-tournament team at the UW-Stout Tournament held October 21-22. In 20 games played during the week, she registered 87 kills (4.35 per game), 74 digs (3.7 per game), 14 blocks and a .288 hitting percentage. The Yellowjackets also claimed victories over Hamline (Minn.), Dubuque (Iowa) and Viterbo.

Week of Oct. 10 - 16
Abbie Mueller, Senior (West Bend/East), Setter of UW-Whitewater
Mueller helped UW-Whitewater to a 5-0 record on the week with victories over UW-La Crosse, Wheaton (Ill.), No. 19-ranked Eastern (Pa.), Carthage and No. 9-ranked Elmhurst (Ill.). She earned all-tournament honors at the Elmhurst Invitational after leading the Warhawks to the title. In a 22-30, 30-22, 30-28, 30-19 victory over Elmhurst, Mueller recorded 11 kills, 21 digs and 53 assists. In 17 games played during the week, she had 240 assists (14.12/game), 66 digs (3.88/game), 28 kills and seven service aces.

Week of Oct. 3 - 9
Andrea Geehan, Junior (St. Paul, Minn./Como Park), Middle Hitter of UW-River Falls
Geehan was named to the All-Tournament Team at the UW-Platteville Tournament after helping UW-River Falls to a 4-1 record during the week, including the title of the UW-Platteville Tournament. Against Benedictine (Ill.), she led the Falcons with 20 kills and a .548 hitting percentage. Geehan added 21 kills against No. 18-ranked UW-Platteville and contributed 18 kills against Clarke (Iowa). She also tallied a career-high 29 kills against Coe (Iowa). In 19 games played on the week, Geehan recorded 102 kills (5.36 per game) and a .401 hitting percentage.

Molly Menard, Senior (Eau Claire/Memorial), Outside Hitter of UW-Eau Claire
Menard helped UW-Eau Claire to a pair of WIAC victories on the week. In a match against No. 14-ranked UW-Platteville on September 30, she led the Blugold offense with 19 kills and a .326 hitting percentage. The next day, in a five-game victory over No. 19-ranked UW-La Crosse, Menard was one of three Blugolds to bring down 20-plus kills.

Week of Sept. 19 - 25
Leah Rosenbaum, Sophomore (Wrightstown), Middle Blocker of UW-Oshkosh
Rosenbaum hit .417 and totaled 23 blocks as UW-Oshkosh went undefeated in five matches to raise its record to 16-1 on the season. In UW-Oshkosh's 3-1 victory over 11th-ranked UW-Platteville on September 21, Rosenbaum paced the 22nd-ranked Titans by compiling a .409 hitting percentage with 21 kills and eight blocks. Rosenbaum also helped UW-Oshkosh defeat four opponents at the UW-Whitewater Invitational held September 23-24 by counting a .421 hitting percentage with 47 kills and 15 blocks.

Jessica Freund, Sophomore (Mt. Calvary/New Holstein), Rightside Hitter of UW-La Crosse
Freund averaged 3.93 kills, 3.00 digs and 0.93 blocks per game in three matches last week. She recorded double-doubles in kills and digs in all three matches against nationally-ranked conference opponents. Freund finished with 21 kills and 12 digs in a 3-2 win at No. 9-ranked UW-Platteville; 20 kills and 13 digs in a 3-2 loss to No. 22 UW-Stout and 18 kills and 20 digs in a 3-2 victory over No. 26 UW-River Falls. She also had eight blocks against UW-River Falls.

Freiborg was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Augsburg (Minn.) Invitational as the Blugolds were declared the tournament champions after losing only one game in four matches. For the weekend, Freiborg averaged 12.3 assists, 2.4 digs and 1.2 service aces per game with a hitting percentage of .450. UW-Eau Claire defeated Macalester (Minn.), Northland, St. Scholastica (Minn.) and St. Olaf (Minn.) at the invitational.

Ashley Fischer, Senior (Fond du Lac), Setter of UW-Oshkosh
Fischer was named to the all-tournament team as UW-Oshkosh posted a 3-1 record at the Elmhurst (Ill.) Invitational on September 2-3. Fischer played in 16 games, totaling 167 assists, 64 digs and 29 kills. In a five-game win over Nebraska Wesleyan, Fischer recorded a triple-double by counting 11 kills, 56 assists and 24 digs. In UW-Oshkosh's 3-1 upset victory over 20th-ranked UW-River Falls, Fischer registered eight kills, 49 assists and 14 digs.
