Can I still reserve a seat at the banquet?
Thank you for your interest in attending the WIAC Centennial Banquet! Unfortunately, the event is sold out.
What do you mean by formal attire?
We encourage all guests at the WIAC Centennial Banquet to dress appropriately for this celebration! This is not a black tie event, so tuxedos are not a requirement. We do recommend a jacket and tie for gentlemen and a cocktail dress or dress pants and blouse for ladies.
When will I get my tickets?
We will not be mailing physical tickets to you for the WIAC Centennial Banquet. You will simply need to check in with us when you arrive.
Where do I park?
Parking is free with your reservation for the WIAC Centennial Banquet. We encourage you to park in the Southeast lot at the Alliant Energy Center. Please visit www.alliantenergycenter.com for driving directions and parking information.
Are there hotel rooms available?
The WIAC has arranged for group rates at six hotels in the Madison area. Click here for more information. Please note: Rooms at the group rate are available on a first-come-first-served basis. The group rate will be made available until all rooms have been reserved or July 1, 2012, whichever comes first.
Can I register at the door?
Unfortunately, we will be unable to accommodate late reservation requests. Please R.S.V.P. before July 1, 2012.
What will I eat?
The reception will include butler passed hors d'oeuvres, cash bars, and wine stations. There will be the opportunity to purchase full bottles of wine with delivery to your table for dinner.
Dinner will commence with a house salad with ranch and red wine vinaigrette dressing options. For the entrée, you will enjoy a sun-dried tomato & basil stuffed chicken breast set atop sautéed spinach and sun-dried tomato dressed linguini and topped with a garlic cream sauce. Dessert will include turtle cheesecake and chocolate cake.
Individuals with dietary restrictions and/or food allergies must notify the WIAC prior to the event to ensure that appropriate accommodations can be made.
Is the Alliant Energy Center handicap accessible?
Yes, the Alliant Energy Center is ADA compliant.
