WIAC Centennial Artwork Now Available

MADISON, Wis.--A limited supply of reproduction prints of the artwork commissioned by the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) to commemorate its upcoming Centennial Celebration are now available for purchase from the athletics department at any of the nine WIAC institutions.

All nine WIAC institutions and a number of sports are represented in this masterpiece created by artist Tim Cortes. Reproductions of the original artwork are available as Limited Edition prints (20” x 24”), as Artist Proofs (20” x 24”), and as Master Edition prints (30” x 24”). The Master Edition prints are also printed on a museum quality paper for enhanced framing and display. Each print is individually numbered and signed by the artist.

About the Artist
One of the nation’s premier photo-realism artists, Tim Cortes uses color pencils as his preferred medium. Known for his impeccable detail, Cortes has concentrated his talent on celebrating the life and times of many of the worlds’ most famous athletes and sporting events.

Thousands of his limited edition lithographs have been sold throughout North America and his clients include Wayne Gretzky, Dale Earnhardt, Shaquille O’Neal and Troy Aikman.

Cortes’ paintings have also been featured in numerous venues around the world, including the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame, the Franklin Mint, and at the retirement ceremonies of NHL All-Star Brett Hull and NFL All-Pro and Green Bay Packer, the late Reggie White.
